‘Beyond Excellence’ was designed to expand Smile Solutions’ clinical capability, strengthen specialist pathways, and reimagine the patient experience. With planning and execution achieved within six months, the initiative brought together a suite of undertakings across four key pillars:

• Enhanced Patient Experience

All aftercare and marketing materials were redesigned to be clear, uniform, and visually engaging, improving patient understanding and compliance. Marketing reach expanded through TikTok (10,000+ followers, 50,000+ likes), multicultural media such as Neos Kosmos, and regional campaigns, attracting new patient groups. Smile Online was launched, enabling patients and the wider community to purchase trusted, clinician-recommended products conveniently.

• Practice Growth & Technology

Major investments were made in systems, equipment, and spaces. The AI phone platform and Heidi clinical note system streamlined communication and workflows. Additional iTero scanners expanded digital precision. New spaces, including a photo studio and recovery room, further elevated treatment planning and patient comfort.

• Specialist Expansion

Eight new board-registered specialists were welcomed across endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, paediatrics, surgery, and implants. The Perio Squad expanded to offer longer appointments for advanced gum disease, while the Dedicated Orofacial Clinic was launched, a first-of-its-kind centre integrating multiple specialties to manage sleep apnoea, TMD, and orofacial disorders.

• External Collaboration

Over 500 targeted mailouts and personal visits strengthened referral pathways with imaging centres, oncology clinics, physiotherapists, osteopaths, schools, GPs, and hotel concierges. The Tooth Fairy Centre campaigns introduced paediatric specialists to schools and GPs. These initiatives broadened awareness, strengthened referral networks, and established Smile Solutions as a trusted partner within Victoria’s healthcare landscape.
