As we celebrate this achievement, we are fueled by the passion to continue our commitment to excellence and innovation in the years ahead.

ARC Projects (ARC) is a privately owned building and restoration company that began nine years ago. Since then, the company has flourished from having one employee to now nearing 200 employees. ARC also engages a vast sub-contractor base, numbering over 800. ARC’s geographic reach has expanded from its Southeast Queensland origin to covering all of Queensland, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, and New Zealand. Although ARC is now a large company, its two directors lead from the front and ensure their strong family values remain part of ARC Projects’ core fabric.

ARC’s services are predominantly building repairs, restoration, and make safe activities, with insurance companies being its major clients. These services are primarily delivered in the insurance industry, specifically as claims for property damage. For example, ARC Projects may be appointed to an insurance claim to determine the cause of the damage, to provide a scope of works for the repair, to carry out the property repairs, or to provide mitigation and restoration services for properties that may have flooded, mould affected, or damaged by fire or the production of drugs.

In 2022, ARC Projects undertook a major initiative of creating a Staff Training and Induction Program. With ARC Projects’ rapid growth over a short time, inductions and training for new starters needed to be improved to provide an understanding of where they fit into the larger organisation. The primary goal of the Staff Training and Induction Program was to increase the engagement of all staff and new starters and provide them with a comprehensive understanding of ARC Projects’ values, culture, procedures, and role requirements. ARC Projects’ Staff Training and Induction Program began by appointing a project manager to oversee and drive the complex project. Multiple resources were needed to be created and compiled to create the comprehensive program, including the ARC Core Values, policy suite, animated training videos, video tutorials and the platforms to hold the program, The Hub and the Learning Management System (LMS). The roll-out of the ARC Projects Staff Training and Induction Program was completed via several information sessions for all managers and employees. All ARC Staff completed the program, and feedback is used to continually update it to ensure it remains accurate, relevant, and consistent.
