Clicks IT Recruitment (Clicks) is a specialist IT recruitment company. Established over 30 years ago, Clicks is one of Australia’s largest permanent and IT staffing services suppliers. Their head office is in Melbourne, with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, and Canberra. Clicks use innovative technology, allowing them to service clients outside of these cities across Australia.

Clicks have three key external stakeholder groups: clients, candidates, and contractors. Their clients are 250+ Australian organisations, ranging from Federal, State and Local Governments to universities, blue-chip corporate organisations, boutique ‘tech sector’ start-ups and niche businesses. Clicks candidates are IT professionals placed into a contract or permanent work. Once placed into a contract assignment with clients, the candidates become contractors, generating a significant revenue stream for Clicks.

Clicks deliver service excellence through intelligent systems and processes, a leading Contractor Care & Wellness Matters program, practical internal support functions, and industry partnerships. Clicks’ work is underpinned by diversity and inclusion within IT teams and promoting wellness in Australian workplaces. Clicks recognise that forming relationships with candidates after being placed into roles is critical to its commercial success and achieving its vision. Therefore, Clicks developed its ever-evolving Contractor Care & Wellness Matters Program. This program supports Clicks’ key external stakeholders – clients, candidates and contractors – by leveraging intelligent systems and processes, a leading reward and recognition scheme, practical internal support functions, and industry partnerships. The Clicks Contractor Care program balances smart systems with a high-touch concierge service. Clicks’ Contractor Care Program is an initiative of which all members of the Clicks workforce are a part. The Contractor Care program includes a detailed post-placement contact schedule. Clicks provide regular contact with contractors throughout their assignment, and they have access to various benefits, rewards and recognition programs and events. At the end of a contract assignment, Clicks conducts an exit interview. The interview allows Clicks to obtain feedback about their contractors’ experiences. Any opportunities for improvement in service and communication are considered to enhance Clicks’ program further.

When Clicks’ Contractor Care program began, there were around 200 contractors and a single Contractor Care Manager. Today, Clicks has 750 contractors and four people managing the Contractor Care program nationally. The feedback the Contractor Care team receives in person and via the annual contractor survey is overwhelmingly positive. Clicks’ ability to establish long-term relationships with candidates has supported their success with clients. Clicks have worked with forty-six of its top fifty clients for five years or more.
