Clicks IT Recruitment
Clicks IT Recruitment has been selected as an ABA100® Winner for Service Excellence in The Australian Business Awards 2024. The Australian Business Award for Service Excellence [CSX] recognises organisations that have successfully implemented initiatives that demonstrate leadership and commitment to customer service excellence.
Clicks’ vision is to be Australia’s favourite IT recruiter. To achieve this, Clicks has implemented a structured, measurable strategic planning process that has proven successful in meeting the needs and wellbeing of Clicks’ clients, candidates, and staff. Clicks provide services in contract recruitment, permanent recruitment, workforce management, payrolling, master vendor, managed services, skills benchmarking and testing, recruitment process improvement and industry research.
Clicks values its relationships with candidates highly. Recognising that these relationships are critical to its commercial success and integral to achieving its vision, Clicks strives to ensure that candidates feel valued and supported throughout their journey with the company.
As a result, Clicks developed an ever-evolving Contractor Care & Wellness Matters Program. This program supports its key external stakeholders—clients, candidates, and contractors—by leveraging smart systems and processes, a leading reward and recognition scheme, effective internal support functions, and industry partnerships.
Taking inspiration from HumAIn, Clicks’ proprietary recruitment methodology – which focuses on the intersection of smart technology and human reasoning, creativity, and compassion – the Clicks Contractor Care program balances smart systems with a high-touch concierge service. In 2018, Clicks initiated an enterprise system transformation project. Since then, it has deployed over ten new technology platforms, including a CRM, ATS, semantic search, reference/probity checking, and automation tools, resulting in increased efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Clicks’ work is underpinned by a focus on promoting wellness in Australian workplaces and increasing the diversity within IT teams. Clicks believe diverse and inclusive teams have greater workplace culture, engagement, and increased profit. This stems from Clicks’ experience in the staffing and recruitment industry, supporting research and assessment of its own workplace. Clicks’ workforce comprises mostly females, and women hold 57% of leadership positions. Cultural diversity is well-represented within Clicks, with employees from 15 different countries. COVID-19 further highlighted the importance of organisations supporting wellbeing at work. Clicks’wellness program encompasses physical, mental, and financial wellness. Click’s conducts a bi-annual Wellness Survey to continually improve their program.
The Contractor Care program includes a detailed post-placement contact schedule. Contractors are contacted from their first day of working until their last. Regular contact is maintained throughout their assignment, and access to a range of benefits, rewards and recognition programs and events is offered. At the end of a contract assignment, Clicks conducts an exit interview, which allows Clicks to obtain feedback about their contractors’ experiences. These responses allow the organisation to identify opportunities for improvement in service and communication and make improvements to enhance the program further. It is not a set-and-forget program but one that is ever-evolving. Clicks is also committed to supporting its contractors in securing their next assignment.
Clicks’ Contractor Care Program is an initiative of which all members of the Clicks workforce are a part. Each contractor has a single point of contact while being serviced by multiple cross-functional teams, including Recruitment, Marketing, Administration, Finance and Payments. When Clicks’ Contractor Care program was implemented, there were around 200 contractors and a single Contractor Care Manager. Today, Clicks has approximately 650 contractors and four people managing the Contractor Care program nationally.
Feedback is overwhelmingly positive, based on the annual contractor survey and in-person interactions with the Contractor Care team. Clicks’ ability to establish long-term relationships with candidates has supported their success with clients.
Clicks has worked with forty-six of its top fifty clients for five years or more. It is also on over 80 Preferred Supplier Agreements, gaining the trust of Australia’s favourite employers to find them great people.
