Grosvenor

Grosvenor has been selected as an ABA100® Winner for Service Excellence in The Australian Business Awards 2024. The Australian Business Award for Service Excellence [CSX] recognises organisations that have successfully implemented initiatives that demonstrate leadership and commitment to customer service excellence.

Grosvenor is a management consulting firm, that has been operating for nearly 30 years, and has 36 staff located in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide. Specialising in public sector, procurement, and property advisory services, Grosvenor’s purpose is to enable Australian public and private sector organisations and their staff to perform at their best. Grosvenor’s team are dedicated to making a positive impact for their clients and the communities it operates in. Grosvenor’s consulting philosophy is based on close collaboration, a deep understanding of the problems they are trying to solve, critical thinking at each step of the project and constant testing of progress and ideas with their clients.

Grosvenor was engaged by the Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (PHN) on behalf of the PHN Cooperative and in partnership with the Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC) to identify opportunities to develop best practice across the themes of sharing, connecting, growing and improve commissioning capability across all 31 PHNs in the country. An eight-step ISO 9001 certified project management methodology was applied to deliver this project over 9 months. Various data collections tools such as a survey, document and data submission and innovation case study collection were used to identify the findings and current state and develop options for the future state. Governor’s collaborative working relationship with clients helped the project to achieve its intended outcomes. By educating their client on better program management approaches throughout project delivery, this engendered strong trust between Grosvenor and their client. This collaborative working relationship helped the project to achieve its intended outcomes.

The Grosvenor team achieved several key outcomes for the client, which included eight key findings, lessons learned from the comparator organisations, development of options for a future state, identification of a preferred option through design criteria and risk considerations assessment, cost analysis of the preferred option and additional recommendations to support the transition to the future state. This directly benefits the PHNs in aligning commissioning to deliver better health outcomes across the country. It will also lead to a positive economic impact by enhancing efficiency gains and creating social impact by improving commissioning practices for First Nations.
